‘The Game That Never Was’ is the story of an evil wizard who rips a hole in time and takes control of the country with an army of future-bots.

Four youths (Jace, the brothers- Ed and Al, and Esme) rise up against him, destroying many machines and escaping their home-town (which is then destroyed). They meet the wizard face-to-face- Al is killed and Esme is kidnapped. Jace and Ed travel the wastes and meet the keeper of an ancient and powerful weapon— The Crono-Gladius.

They fight through many future-bots and make it to the wizard’s castle, up to the very top level. They defeat their opponent, but he still has the power to pull machines from the future. Ed tackles the wizard into the portal (as revenge for his brother) and Jace seals it.

Jace and Esme head back into the world…
